We are looking for an English teacher who is able to teach lessons to orphans and under underprivileged children aged 7-12 (Standard 1-6).Detaillierte Beschreibung
English Teacher
- You must be available to teach two classes of 45 mins per week between the hours of Monday to Thursday 2.00pm and 5.00pm
We operate from 2 locations in the Klang Valley: Setiawangsa & Seputeh (please use Google to check whether you will be able to come to our premises.)
This opportunity is open to students wishing to complete their volunteerism requirements with us. However, we ask that you try to continue with us even after you have completed your required hours
Prerequisites
You must be able to commit to teaching in both of our locations.
You must also be able to speak Malay/BM at least to a conversational level.
You must be available during our operating times which are, Monday to Thursday 2pm-5pm.
Our after-school project benefits:
- Orphans
- Children from low-income families (B40)
- Children from single parent homes
- Children with behavioural difficulties (truancy, expulsions etc.)
- Children with learning difficulties who may need tailored support in their studies.
- Refugee children
This is a paid volunteer postion. We provide you with an allowance to cover your transportation costs.
