Help Share St. Martin’s Past

Do you enjoy exploring the past and want to make a meaningful contribution to the island? The St. Maarten Museum is seeking passionate volunteers to help research, preserve, inventory, and display the island's past.

Whether you’re a student or heritage lover, your help can make a difference!

The museum is open from Monday to Friday

What You’ll Do:

• Help in Research historical events, places, and people from St. Martin’s past
• Assist in organizing and labeling old photographs, maps, and documents
• Conduct interviews with elders or transcribe historical materials
• Contribute to building museum exhibits and educational content
• Assist in the operation of the museum
• Possibility of outdoor activities

Skills Needed:

• Interest in history, culture, or research
• Comfortable using a computer and organizing files
• Good attention to detail
• Patience and innovative skills
• Comfortable moving around and being on their feet, as this role may involve guiding visitors, assisting with exhibits, or helping in different areas of the museum.
